Electrical Apprentice

MCS has an opening for an Experienced Electrical Apprentice position in the Tampa Bay area. We are looking for this to be a full time, permanent position with a benefits package.

Below are details about the position. We are looking to bring someone on immediately.

Electrical Apprentice will need to:

  • Be able to communicate goals clearly and concisely
  • Have a working knowledge of the NEC
  • Be able to read and understand blueprints
  • Have his own hand tools

Educational Requirement

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Apprenticeship Training Preferred
  • Needs to have a detailed knowledge of electrical codes and standards


  • Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, etc
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to read, speak and understand English
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
  • Knowledge of “Safe” working practices (ex. OSHA, Lock Out / Tag Out)
